Help for victims of crime

The Klaipėda Social and Psychological Support Centre provides accredited assistance to persons affected by criminal acts:

•     for individual persons who have suffered physical, material and/or non-material damage directly as a result of a criminal act.
•    family members, relatives, relatives of a natural person who died as a result of a criminal act, who suffered physical, material and/or non-material damage due to the death of that person.

KSPPC organizes and provides assistance in the Republic of Lithuania in case of individual needs of the victim due to the committed criminal act. A person can be referred for help by:
 

  • Pre-trial investigation institution (police);

  • prosecutor's office (prosecutor);

  • court (judge);

  • general help center;

  • municipal administration;

  • health or educational institutions;

  • social service institutions;

  • child rights protection and adoption service;

  • a person who has obtained the consent of the victim;

  • the affected person can apply.

All help is anonymous and free of charge.
