One million questions about the support for victims of crime

The Law on Support to Victims of Criminal Acts has been passed by the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania on January 14, 2021. However, many questions are still left unanswered: who and how should refer victims to victims support services, how the data on victims could or could not be shared among the institutions involved, who could or could not be considered to be a victim, how are victim support services distributed throughout the territory of Lithuania, and finally who shall be in charge to supervise proper implementation of the law.

The event will take place on Friday, December 17, 2021 (13.00-15.45) Simultaneous translations Lithuanian - English, English – Lithuanian will be provided.

The event will be live streamed. You are welcome to join by clicking on this link: „ Milijonas klausimų apie pagalbą nukentėjusiems nuo nusikaltimų“
